Santa Cruz RALLY OF AYSÉN-PATAGONIA by Montenbaik

On January 19th 2016, we will be testing a new event idea called the Santa Cruz RALLY OF AYSÉN-PATAGONIA by Montenbaik. 

The event is set to launch to the public in January 2017, however we are hosting a beta run first with a limited number of invitees.  Places are restricted to 40 particpants in order to cover the logistics of running an event in this region.

The event is run by Montenbaik, the organizers behind the Andes-Pacifico and Enduro World Series races in South America.  It will be supported by experienced suppliers from the Paris-Dakar trans-continental race.  

For $1,600 you’ll get 4 days of riding across the stunning Aysén region of Patagonia in the deep South of Chile, including food and 5 nights accommodation at hotels (on Day 0 and Day 4) and mobile base camps (Days 1, 2 and 3).

The event will be informal and will follow a now familiar format.  Only a few timed stages per day will count towards your overall time.  That way you can throttle back and enjoy the scenery the whole way.  Stages will be a mix of climbs, flats and descents on a variety of remote mountain bike trails.  

You’ll be riding for fun and racing for pride… and at the end of the day experiencing a whole new event one year in advance of everyone else.
